Visit The Masterpiece Of The French Watch Industry In F.P. Journe

As the opening ceremony of the first week of the watch salon in 2009, François-Paul Journe will open his production exhibition hall to the public, members of the global news media and watch salons from all over the world All guests can visit:
‘Chefs d’Oeuvre de l’Horlogerie Française’, a historic series consisting of twelve unique clocks, made by French watchmakers in the 18th and 19th centuries, they are: Lépine, Detouche, Bouchet and Robin. Some of these outstanding timepieces were made for important figures in French history, such as King Louis XVI of France and Josephine de Beauharnais. They witnessed an important phase of the watch industry and contributed to the growth of the French watch industry. François-Paul Journe also became the birthplace of the French watch industry.

Producer F.P.Journe will be the sole guardian of these perfect masterpieces during the show, which are the legacy of French art and are currently in the private collection of Italian collector Ausano Musa.
The exhibition runs from January 19, 2009, Monday to February 6, 2009, Tuesday-Monday to Friday from 9 to 18
